Shorebirds Webinar
These webinars are designed to allow conservationists, researchers and visitor managers to exchange knowledge and experience on the key issues affecting our breeding and wintering coastal birds.
We will discuss the various applied management approaches in mitigating coastal erosion, habitat squeeze, recreational disturbance, and predation. We hope they will offer new solutions and allow us to return to our own sites/offices with renewed eagerness to continue protecting these vulnerable birds. |
The upcoming webinar on 15th March will primarily focus on oystercatchers (Haematopus ostralegus) and American oystercatchers (Haematopus palliatus) covering the broad topics of species & habitats management and people engagement.
