Shorebirds Webinars
These Shorebirds webinars are designed to allow conservationists, researchers and visitor managers to exchange knowledge and experience on the key issues affecting our breeding and wintering shorebirds.
We will discuss the various applied management approaches in mitigating coastal erosion, habitat squeeze, recreational disturbance, and predation. We hope they will offer new solutions and allow us to return to our own sites/offices with renewed eagerness to continue protecting these vulnerable birds. |
The upcoming webinars (17th November and 1st December) will primarily focus on ringed plovers (Charadrius hiaticula) and piping plovers (Charadrius melodus) covering the broad topics of species & habitats and people engagement.
